We have been in business since the February of 1985.  Originally a State of Iowa retail Tax Permit was written to Bill's Electronic Systems (BES - Wiring, Alarm Systems, Industrial Controls), and slowly migrated into BES Services (Pond and General Excavation Services), with a website titled BES Ponds which finally evolved to IowaPonds.com^© 

In 2006 we picked up the Guardian by Generac Sales and Service Dealership for the Cedar Valley, and created iowagenerators.com

In 2007 we added inbound toll free lines, and now accept most major credit cards, as well as upgrading our security on the web, you can rest assured that your privacy is protected as well as any financial transactions are fully secured with the latest available technologies that are in use by the banking industry.  We have expanded our inventory and supplier base to meet all your needs.  Construction is in process for a warehouse, as well as acquisition of industrial equipment to "make the job easier".

We also began operation of the Traer Fitness Center promoting good health to the community of Traer, Iowa (my home town), and changed from a sole proprietorship to a Limited Liability Corporation titled BEST Services LLC to accommodate our "growing pains".

I have past extensive training and experiences in waste water management and environmental controls supporting a fortune 500 company.  My experiences in the pond business dates back to the early 1980's, with the last few years having primary focus to this industry.

Mission Statement

The mission is to keep my customers happy.  Provide world class communications, honesty, and integrity.  I was born and raised in a small town in central Iowa, population 1,500.  My father taught me to be a good neighbor, and treat one as I would like to be treated.  This is what it is all about.
